The AVENIO Tumor Tissue CGP Kit is designed to allow labs to conduct oncology research with CGP in-house, expanding personalized cancer research and supporting researchers in navigating the complex landscape of cancer. HTFoundation Medicine provides three high-quality and rigorously validated CGP tests: FoundationOne® CDx, FoundationOne® Liquid CDx and FoundationOne® Heme. FoundationOne CDx is a globally available, FDA-approved, tissue-based CGP test for solid tumors that analyzes 324 cancer-related genes in a single test, eliminating the need for invasive biopsies and multiple hospital visits. Alternatively, FoundationOne Liquid CDx is an FDA-approved assay that comprehensively tests a sample of a patient's blood, known as a liquid biopsy, to analyze 300+ cancer-related genes and multiple genomic signatures that support the usage of oncology therapies, including immunotherapies. It also reports tumor fraction--the percentage of DNA in the blood derived from the patient's tumor, which can be used as an exploratory biomarker of treatment response. For hematologic malignancies and sarcomas, Foundation Medicine offers its FoundationOne Heme test, which analyzes and interprets DNA sequence information from 406 genes and RNA sequence information from 265 commonly rearranged genes. All three tests report tumor mutational burden and microsatellite instability status, two more genomic signatures which may help inform clinical decision-making and potential clinical trial enrolment.
