Eagle Health, LLC, founded in March 2007 as a subsidiary of Cape Fox Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation, provides professional services to government and private sector clients. In order to ensure the optimum quality of these services, Eagle Health maintains dedicated medical recruiting staff. During this operation, Eagle Health was able to mobilize its full suite of capabilities to set up, implement, and launch ‘Operation COVID’—an online COVID-19 screening tool and call center. It equipped NIH with necessary information and tools to build lasting community resilience, reduce the spread of the disease, and save lives. Operation COVID was composed of 24 telephonic call stations and a team of 21 volunteers who triaged calls and relied on Eagle Health’s registered nurses to determine who should be tested, provide information on how to get tested, and deliver recommendations for the next steps. This proactive strategy was grounded in Eagle Health’s values, which empowered them to make a visible difference.

Such has been the impact that Eagle Health created during the unforeseen challenges that COVID-19 has brought. Further, with the growing need for specialized wellness services, Eagle Health has witnessed significant customer interest in service providers that are able to provide flexible services in a time-efficient manner. “Customers want to customize their occupational health services. Some of them focus more on wellness and others only want to receive more traditional occupational health care services,” mentions Mitchell.
