The intelligent enterprise software also leverages NFC technology to prove how a task has been completed as per its specifications. To cite an example, when it comes to maintenance auditing, the staff in charge of cleaning the washroom can hold their phone over a sink and scan a tag for the sink to get flushed. If the sink is supposed to be flushed for three minutes as per specifications, then the system will only let that person move on after the stipulated time period.

Such a level of transparency ensures proof of presence and accountability.

However, what sets the company apart from its peers is ECAT’s consultative and engaging approach to client onboarding. The client onboarding process kick-starts with the hospital executives presenting the ECAT team with a rough sketch of the final solution, followed by extensive round-the-table discussions before ECAT goes ahead with introducing a test-version of the platform to the employees working on the floor. “Only after the employees try it out for a couple of weeks and give necessary feedback, do we begin to roll out the official version of the platform across the entire organization,” states Lyons.

The company is gearing to adopt Flutter, a cross-platform UI toolkit developed by Google to build natively compiled applications on mobile, web, or desktop from a single codebase.
