A Leading AI-Enabled Behavioral Health Organization will Advance its Personalized Support through the Violets Health Equity Platform.
FREMONT, CA: “Violet's continuing education will support Ontraks care coaches to be better aligned with the needs, identities, and backgrounds of the members they serve. This is just the first step in our journey to building health equity together,” says Gaurang Choksi, CEO and founder of Violet. Violet, the first-ever health equity platform, has teamed with Ontrak Health, a leading artificial intelligence and technology-enabled mental health startup, to provide more tailored support and treatment through identity-centered care. Through the agreement, Ontrak Health will deploy Violets' continuing education for care coaches to learn how to support better each health plan member their program serves.
“Ontrak believes that caring for the whole person includes understanding one's unique identity, background, and values, and we are better able to do that in tandem with Violet,” says Dr. Judith Feld, Chief Medical Officer, Ontrak Health.

Through the agreement, Violet will onboard Ontraks care coaches to certify and enhance their cultural competence to provide better care for BIPOC, LGBQ, and TGNC patients. Violet's training platform enables physicians and other healthcare workers to assess their comprehension of the identities and care requirements of BIPOC, LGBQ, and TGNC patients. Based on their baseline knowledge benchmarks, Violet's training platform offers individualized education pathways to enable healthcare professionals to upgrade their skills and cultural competency.
The goal of the Ontrak WholeHealth+ initiative is to assist health plan participants who have been lost to care. These difficult-to-reach folks are a broad cross-section of the community who benefit from a personalized, whole-person approach augmented with Violet training.
