ConceRTOS is specifically optimised for wearable sensors. It consists of a hard real-time operating system (RTOS) including libraries, an operating system abstraction layer (OSAL), and a hardware abstraction layer (HAL) to provide maximum flexibility and accelerate product development. Owing to this framework, Leitwert can draw from its know-how and technology stack to provide complete data sovereignty with on-premises solutions and end-to-end encryption of data streams.
What’s more? Since these wearable devices are built on top of modular firmware, the devices can also be used as part of a wider network of wearable sensors, wherein, hospitals can monitor their patients 24/7. To facilitate this provision even further, Leitwert is currently developing a single interface called the Device Hub. It is a device and data management platform, which can be deployed on-premise and provides open interfaces to directly integrate with third-party devices, analytics tools, and clinical information systems. Once the interface is made available to healthcare organisations, they can integrate any medical wearables into their workflow and continuously monitor patients’ vital signs throughout their facilities. Together with mobile gateways, Device Hub will allow caregivers to automate the readout of wearable devices worn by patients in any location.
