HouseWorks has been providing the finest level of private, trustworthy in-home care to older persons and their families for more than two decades years and would continue expanding its presence with the recent acquisition.

FREMONT, CA: “We are excited to welcome Atlantic Homelife and its experienced staff and talented group of Caregivers to the HouseWorks family of companies,” said Michael Trigilio, CEO of HouseWorks, while noting the acquisition of Atlantic Homelife Senior Care, a premier private home care provider servicing the Seacoast of New Hampshire and Southern Maine. HouseWorks is one of the largest independent home care firms.

The business’s acquisition of Atlantic Homelife strengthens HouseWorks’ existing footprint in New Hampshire and builds on the company’s present presence in the state, which was established in 2019 through its home care subsidiary, Extended Family. Atlantic Homelife and Extended Family will merge to form one of the region’s largest and most experienced private home care firms.

“By joining together Atlantic Homelife and Extended Family, two of the highest quality independent home care companies in New Hampshire and Southern Maine, we will be able to maximize our operations for the greater good of our clients and Caregivers,” observes Trigilio.

The acquisition is part of HouseWorks’ ongoing strategy of acquiring in-home service providers who share its values and dedication to quality within and outside its geographic footprint. Atlantic Homelife, based in Dover, New Hampshire, has been delivering high-quality in-home care since 2011 and is led by Founder Martha Berk, a Registered Nurse who will stay on as CEO after the sale.
