Attune ensemble OTC app is a significant step forward in efforts to provide patients access to cancer-specific mental health care.

FREMONT, CA: There is a need for strategies to reduce the long-term symptom burden of cancer patients and survivors. Support programs with personalized content have a more extensive reach and higher adherence. Blue Note Therapeutics revealed to give Spanish-speaking patients direct access to attune ensemble OTC, a new cancer-specific health app. The wellness app is a digital therapy to assist cancer patients in coping with emotional symptoms such as stress. The availability of attune ensemble OTC in Spanish contributes to Blue Note's mission of giving all patients access to cancer-specific support to alleviate cancer burdens and improve outcomes.

"We're excited to offer a new tool to support the overall well-being of Spanish-speaking patients with cancer. Attune ensemble OTC will be offered for free and is the first app of its kind. This is a remarkable milestone on our journey to expand patient access to cancer-specific mental health care; now we can welcome more members of our Hispanic, Caribbean, and Latin American communities." says Geoffrey Eich, CEO of Blue Note Therapeutics.

Attune ensemble OTC uses Cognitive-Behavioral Stress Management (CBSM) to teach relaxation and coping methods explicitly tailored to the unique challenges of cancer. It can be utilized at any stage of treatment, from diagnosis to survivorship. The Attune Ensemble OTC is available through the Public Health Emergency and is used in conjunction with standard therapy.

"As a cancer survivor, I can attest to the physical, financial, and emotional challenges faced following a cancer diagnosis, and these challenges are often exacerbated when English is not your native language. Offering a free, over-the-counter therapy app available in Spanish will help to fill a great need for Spanish-speaking cancer patients, a community too often overlooked." says Daniel G Garza, anal cancer patient advocate and Blue Note Therapeutics' patient advisor.
