About 650,000 individuals fight against cancer and receive chemotherapy as diagnosis and undergo tests to evaluate their blood count and biochemistry according to the protocol. Such disease deciding markers drive the decision-making by the provider whether to choose chemotherapy or any other treatment options. The workflow for administering chemotherapy has flawed and has given poor experiences for vulnerable patients along with poor treatment management system. Workpath transformed this ineffective model of treatment to one of the leading cancer treatment centers in New York. Workpath has thoroughly gone through its standard operating procedures and assimilated it into a proprietary product that guides the healthcare specialists. Upon leveraging Workpath’s solution, the center has dispatched the specialists to home visits which have avoided the patients’ trip to a hospital. Moreover, the cancer center was able to add 33 incremental hours to deliver more care in time. “The Workpath platform can now be used to deliver care across multiple use cases, like phlebotomy, home health, dialysis, infusion services, and any form of care that could be improved by selecting the most convenient location possible,” says Eddie Peloke, CEO of Workpath.

Workpath has announced the launch of a clinical data exchange platform that is designed to automate the requests from providers to clinical lab services. Workpath, with its partners, had worked on creating a fully electronic medical record (EMR) of the patients, and it is integrated with its platform making an effort to improve the health systems to place an order for blood draws. This pilot program is completed with world-renowned cancer research and treatment, and it is launched allowing the cancer centers to perform necessary blood testing at patients home. Technology has led the organization to deliver the right care at the right time in the right place, which means the place might be anywhere. Previously,  managing of healthcare of patients was not easily possible at the patients’ homes. With the Workpath platform, it is made possible now.  Every appointment is tracked, monitored, and updated on the Workpath dashboard in real-time. Workpath expands its efforts in redesigning the healthcare organizations through its offerings. Apart from its previous features, Workpath is continually adding the new functions on a regular basis that enhance the quality, safety, and compliance.
