The AI software used by Astarte Medical is called the NICUtrition. This particular software is designed to study the digestive health of premature infants. Astarte is also working on developing an ML system that can assist in the feeding and antibiotic treatment of these babies. This software uses the data from the medical reports and examines it to verify the health of an infant’s gut. The MAGI gut health score also helps to identify which infant is at a higher risk of an unhealthy digestive system. This mechanism allows the doctors to correctly understand the diet to be given to these premature babies for their healthy growth and sustenance.
