Dirk Benson will lead Henry Schein Strategic Plans in his role as the Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Henry Schein's North America Distribution Group.

Dirk Benson has been named Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Henry Schein's North America Distribution Group, the world's largest provider of health care solutions to office-based dental and medical practitioners (NADG).
Mr. Benson will lead Henry Scheins' One Distribution initiative, which is a key component of the company's 2022-2024 BOLD+1 Strategic Plan. One Distribution is intended to more tightly integrate the global management of Henry Schein's distribution businesses while fully leveraging the functions, talent, processes, and systems of our distribution businesses to improve the customer experience and maximize efficiency and performance.
Mr. Benson will be in charge of the NADG, Henry Schein's largest business group, dental and medical customer-facing organization in the United States. He will report to Brad Connett, President, and CEO of North America Distribution Group.
Mr. Benson previously worked for healthcare products distributor Medline Industries, LP, the largest privately held U.S. manufacturer and distributor of healthcare supplies, for 27 years. Mr. Benson left Medline as a member of the company's Executive Committee in 2020. Mr. Benson, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a graduate of Marquette University, joined Medline in 1993 and progressed through a series of increasingly responsible positions at the company.
