Vector’s mission of serving everyday heroes, including three million frontline caregivers for seniors, is strengthened by the acquisition of CareSafely.

FREMONT, CA: Vector Solutions, the market leader in industry-specific software solutions for training, workforce management, and risk communications, has acquired CareSafely, a software and content platform designed to help senior living and long-term care providers strengthen their Quality, Safety, and Compliance (QSC) program. CareSafely’s addition to Vector Solutions advances Vector’s mission of serving everyday heroes by empowering them to make safer, smarter, and better decisions. It also introduces Vector to a new fast-growing vertical. The senior care industry employs over three million frontline workers in life-critical settings where safety and compliance are critical.

“Our nations three million frontline senior care workers face safety and compliance challenges every day in life-critical settings, particularly now during the COVID-19 pandemic,” says Vector Solutions CEO Marc Scheipe. “With the acquisition of CareSafely, Vector is proud to support these everyday heroes with easy and quick access to additional solutions, resources, and knowledge to help them close their quality and safety gaps, improve overall staff performance, and build trust with patients, residents, and families, as they continue providing critical care for our seniors and most vulnerable communities.”

CareSafely is headquartered in Austin, Texas, and provides services to seniors living in assisted living, skilled nursing, home health, and hospice settings. CareSafely automates compliance procedures and includes expert-developed, ready-to-use risk assessments, digital action plans, and competency tests, giving operators 100 percent of the intelligence necessary to analyse and address identified risk areas.

“Quality, Safety, and Compliance management is more critical than ever for senior care,” says CareSafely Founder and former CEO Raj Shah, the Chief Product Officer at Vector Solutions. “Combining forces with the powerful Vector Solutions platform will enable us to leverage Vectors world-class content and technology to improve employee safety and training so that caregivers can deliver quality care safely.”

CareSafely will become a subsidiary of Vector Solutions, with its compliance platform becoming part of Vector's product offering. Clients of both Vector and CareSafely can anticipate the same level of exceptional products and customer service.
