Some of the essential operation theatre equipment that is needed for effective surgeries are the Operation theatre light, operation table, suction machine, and oxygen concentrators.
FREMONT, CA: Medical establishments perform a variety of functions. Among its core functions is the performance of surgical procedures. A hospital's success rate is often determined by the number of successful operations it performs.
It is in operation rooms that surgeons and surgical staff perform surgical operations that require time, patience, focus, and safety. Operating rooms require a variety of equipment. Hospitals must have appropriate operation theatre equipment in order to ensure the safety of all surgical procedures.

Setting up a new operating room requires the following equipment that is described below:
Operation theatre light: Operation requires high-quality lighting. Surgical operations that are difficult or complex require appropriate lighting. The surgical light allows doctors to view the procedure clearly during the procedure. There are two types of surgical lights: LEDs and halogens.
Machine for anesthesia: Operation theater equipment such as anesthesia machines provide patients with a balanced mixture of anesthesia and life-sustaining gases. Anesthesia machines are used to administer general anesthesia to patients during medical procedures. Anesthesia gas machines are also known as anesthesia workstations or anesthesia delivery systems.
In modern anesthesia machines, there are three types: air anesthesia machines, DC anesthesia machines, and closed anesthesia machines.
The operation table: Surgical tables are used for both general and complex surgical procedures. As the medical team operates, the table keeps the patient in place. Some operating tables are designed to perform extensive procedures, while others are outlined for specific procedures, such as orthopedic tables.
Suction machine: The purpose of a suction machine is to maintain an airway by removing secretions from the mouth, throat, or lungs. It is especially important in neurological diseases where coughing and swallowing are impaired. When absorbing thick liquids, such as phlegm or negative pressure suction, suction machines are used.
Concentrators of oxygen: By removing oxygen from the ambient air, oxygen concentrators produce oxygen. As well as being used in wards, they are also used in operating rooms and intensive care units, where a central gas supply does not exist, and gas cylinders are usually too expensive and difficult to obtain. Anaesthesia machines are directly connected to oxygen concentrators in operating rooms.
Unit for electrosurgery: As an essential part of the operating theatre equipment, electrosurgical units play an essential role in surgeries. An electrosurgical unit uses high-frequency electrical current for tissue incisions and to control bleeding by coagulation. In addition to, or instead of, a scalpel, surgeons may use an electrosurgery unit. When used properly, electrosurgery damages tissue considerably less than a scalpel, with the additional benefit of being able to stem bleeding safely.
